Destination: Nowhereville

Waking up this morning the first thing that I did was look out my window. It was the perfect day, the perfect day for a ride. My bike's have been stored for far too long in the garage over the winter and I have been cooped up in the house all winter long. So yes, today was the perfect day.

I went out to my garage, trying to decide which bike I would like to ride today. The Headstrong Chopper is quite the rough ride, looks great while riding and gets all the ladies heads to turn, but I was planning to ride all day not show off. So of course that left me with the Reverie classic. Oh what a motorcycle, the sound, the ride, the beautiful...she was definitely the perfect bike for this perfect day.

Now that I had my bike, I was off on the road. Feeling the freedom as the wind passed by me and the road beneath me...oh yeah...this is how every guy should start off the spring. Though in my haste to just want to ride, I totally forgot that since I winterized the bikes I totally forgot to WD40 all of the cylinders and valves so I started hearing a bit of a clanking. Well, I couldn't go any further, so I had to pull over even though I was smack dab in the middle of the ghetto. I pulled off the road and over to an abandoned body shop where there was a small hardware shop across the street that I could get all the stuff that I needed to fix the issue before it ruined my whole trip.

Now that I got all of that fixed I was off and riding once more. Taking roads that I have never gone down before, this was not just a road trip, this was an escape. I freed my mind from all the worries of my clothing store and gaming community just to be in this moment. Well, I guess that I freed my mind of EVERYTHING because before I knew it I was out of the city, the suburbs and passing small town after small town heading off into the wilderness. Not that it was a bad thing, this was the point of the ride, lost or not I was enjoying my surroundings.

Oh my goodness, talk about being lost in the beauty around me. The waterways, the animals and the woods. It has been quite a while since I have taken a vacation, even if this was just for a day. Though I was quickly snapped back into reality when my gas gauge indicator went off. I was nearly on empty and out in the middle of nowhereville. So I rode for a little bit longer till I found an old run down gas station in the distance. As I pulled in I was praying that they were still open because it hadn't looked like anyone had used this gas station in about 30 years. Though thankfully enough it was still functional. A man that introduced himself as Earl came sauntering with eyes wide. I think that he was just surprised to see someone out this way. Nevertheless I gassed up and continued on my way to a destination that was undetermined.

As the sun was setting I started to head back home, though first I wanted to reflect upon my last moments in my adventure to Destination: Nowhereville. I spotted a little camp ground a few miles before the gas station that would be a great place to do just that.

Slowing down where I thought was near the little camp ground, I saw the dirt trail leading to it. Pulling off the road and kicking up some dust I rode up to a small pond with a waterfall, fire pit and some logs with pillows. Getting off my bike I noticed that my ass was completely numb from the hours of riding I had done today. I guess that it was perfect because as I got the fire started and plopped down on the rock infested ground, I couldn't feel a darn thing under me. It wouldn't have mattered anyway if I did because this was the perfect ending to the perfect day, the perfect day for a ride.

Well, it has happened again...I have changed my skin. I am a person that likes to think he is the best of the best, the creme dela creme, the hot of the hot...basically I am so flippin' pompous that I have to think I am the hottest teen there is in SL. Although as delusional as this may be in my own head, who plays SL and doesn't want to be hot?! I mean, most people that are here are ugly-fat-antisocial-hermits...wait...I just described myself. So maybe that isn't EVERYONE on SL, though I still feel the need to always have what I consider the best teen avi on SL. Many may disagree and honestly it is a matter of opinion. Though I will digress from this self-indulgent rant and finish by sharing the new profile pic.

Now that everyone knows I am the most conceded person you will ever meet...let's talk about you. So what do you think about me? KIDDING! Sorry.

So this week I wanted to take my girlfriend, Abernathy Button, out on a date. So I thought that Aero Pines would be a great place to take her. If you haven't been there you need to go. It is HUGE and absolutely beautiful. Anyway, they have a tandem bicycle there that will automatically ride you around the sims so all you have to do is sit there and look at the view. In other words...it's a lazy date lmao, though a great one to have to just talk and have fun. Though that was the plan and as Murphy's Law states; What can go wrong will go wrong...needless to say, the date didn't go as planned. I couldn't find the bikes, even though they were on the map. I decided to make the best of the situation and take the paddle canoe instead...so much for the lazy part lol.

There we were, I was singing in french paddling in the back, Abby was sitting in the front just being pretty as we navigated the waterways of Aero Pines. Sounds wonderful, right? Yeah, not when you have a goober like me that gets lost at every turn. So here is the real scene; There we were, I was frantically trying to play cool as I was conpletely lost, doubling back every turn, Abby was sitting in the front just being pretty (okay, so that never changes) as we navigated the wild rapids. I made that last part up, but I was def lost.

Well, I couldn't leave the date night just like that, so I had to think fast. The AQUARIUM! Brilliant, or so I thought.

Here is a friendly note to all the guys out there, you may want to write this down.

BEFORE YOU GO ON A DATE, GO TO THE PLACE BEFORE HAND TO SEE IF IT IS WORTH IT!!!

I only say this because not only was the Aero Pines Park a bust, but this last second Aquarium idea was booty as well. First off the tunnel was like 10ms long and then...END OF AQUARIUM! lmao. So the second part of the date wasn't going as planned either. Also, I have no idea what kind of Aquarium we went to, but it had a fish in there that was a cross of a mole and barracuda. I think the Aquarium was doing some weird hybrid experiments.

So let me give you a little bit of an update of what I have been up to. I have been going in and out of families because I just can't find the right one. I know that I am picky, but this is family that we talkin' about. There is an old adage that says; You can pick your friends but not your family. Second Life makes it possible for you to have control of both and so I just want them to be perfect.

Well, I'm not going to lie...I had perfect but I had to leave them to date my girlfriend, a.k.a. Poptart Princess. Although I miss Cady and Mike as my Mom and Dad I needed to set forth and find a new fam jam...so I went to MAW. For those of you who have no idea what MAW is, I envy you. MAW is the bain of any SL kids existence, we know that we all have to go there at some point in our SL kids life and sometimes we have to somewhat call it home. Not to say that MAW is a horrible place, it's not, though the people that frequent there or come in are not SL winners. You have to constantly weed out all of the bad ones just to get to the few and far between good parents. A lot of people want to be parents, though most shouldn't be.

Point and case...this here was a TEEN MOM at MAW looking to adopt.

Anyway...I thought that I would share with you my MAW card, just so that those that don't understand could get a glimpse of how ridiculous a lot of these questions are. If this is the only thing they are goin' to read before you go on trial then you can understand why it takes a while to find a good fam jam.

What kinds of things do you enoy doing in SL? Well, I own a clothin' store and gaming place so I spend a lot of time working on those, but when I am not I am usually just chillin'...I'm pretty laid back.

Is there anything you would like to learn to do? Well, I have been around for a while and so I have tried to learn a little of EVERYTHING, that doesn't mean that I am good at everything though. My building skills and scripting could be a little better.

Do you want to grow up, or stay the same age? Well, I just changed my age recently. I have been 16 for the past like 6 years and so I am givin' this whole older thing a whirl.

Tell us a little bit about yourself! To be honest with you, I am not lookin' all too hard for a family. I just recently had a family and they were amazing and I know that it is going to take quite a while to find something like that again. Though I am not closing any doors and that is why I have a panel. So, I know this sounds horrible but I am going to be very picky. Which means if you are reading this and you still want to like my panel, you are serious about your family and wanting to adopt.

Though besides all of that I am a very independent person. I love to spend time with friends and family though you will mostly find me just standing around alone either working on some new clothes or on MP shoppin' till I am broke lol. I currently have two businesses, The GameShack and strip'd Fashion. I say currently because I am always thinking of new things to do, though strip'd Fashion is the business that I will always have. In other news...


I have been working my butt off to re-brand my store, strip'd Fashion. I was truly getting tired of being pigeonholed into the grunge/punk/emo/skater fashion. When I have in the past tried to branch out and make a dress or something pretty my group members, which is about 315 strong, have attacked me fiercely with comments such as; "I don't come to you store to buy dresses, you can get that anywhere on SL", "What about the teens, this is their fashion?!".


Yes, strip'd Fashion was originally made by a teen for teens. Though, there is only so much that yuo can do with 'grunge/emo' fashion until you just get tired and want to make a dress or two. SO I DID! I recently had a week long re-branding sale that was 50%-60% OFF EVERYTHING in my store, which was about 50+ items. Taking that time to design a collection of new and improved strip'd Fashions. I even had a friend of mine build a customized new store for me and designed a new logo.

Now I feel that if I want to go pretty, I can...if I want to design something with an edge, I can...if I want to design potted plant post-apocalyptic zombie people, I CAN! Okay okay...maybe that is a little too far, though you get my point. I know that I am going to be losing a lot of members by doing this switch, but I hope new people that has never heard of strip'd Fashion stubble upon this quaint little place.


I don't have much available right now because about 95% of my stores inventory is now locked away in the vault, I just hope that the quality out weighs the quantity at this point. So just a little bit ago, Abby and I have become a couple. I know, I know...sorry ladies, I am not longer available. lol. If you don't know who she is, then you probably haven't read my post She's a Black Brit With A Southern Drawl. Though, it is a most read and will def give you some insight in way I have chosen to be with her...even though when the post was made she was my sister. No worries, she isn't my sister anymore and besides, this is SL...NO BLOOD RELATION! lol

Abernathy Button is not only my girlfriend, but she is my best friend as well. There have been some many things that we have relied on each other for and without one or the two, I don't think that we could do/be as much as we have/are.

Though what is even better then just bein' with each other and best friends, I know that I can be 100% real with her. All my quirks, oddities and eccentricities...they can be a handle much to handle, but she does with the most beautiful smile on her face.
