I know that it has been a while since I last blogged, though I must say that it isn't for good reasons. strip'd Fashion has been expanding by leaps and bounds. I started a satellite store at the BeStyle Shopping District, had an advert in the BeStyle Magazine, made an execlusive item for the Gypset Market, remodeled my store and I am teaching at the Edgewood Prepartory School teaching Fashion Design.
Through all of this I have had the greatest person right there next to me, Abernathy Button, my loverly-perfect-and always beautiful girlfriend. She thinks that just being there and not physically helping isn't much of anything. But, she would be wrong in this assumption. She is right there beside me talking about her day, things that she needs to do, just rambling about politics or just sitting there listening to me talk to myself about what I am doing. You'd think; "Oh my goodness, get this woman out of my hair so I can work PEACEFULLY!". Though her voice calms me when I am frustrated because something isn't going right and makes the hours that I spend doing a task seem like minutes. Really, that last one is always the affect she has over me - which isn't a good thing all the time. Hours that I spend with her always seem like minutes, days feel like hours and months like days. Needless to say; Abby makes everything go into slow motion and I never feel as if I have spent enough time with her.
I know one day I will be looking in the mirror seeing that years have gone by with her in my arms - still looking just as beautifully perfect as we first met. We are still living in the same house where we have raised our son and you'd think the house would be quieter now that our son has finished high school, graduated from one of the best colleges around, and started the job of his dreams where he met his fiance...but you're wrong. Abby and I will be filling the house with music, singing at the top of our lungs to every song and making up our own goofy lyrics. Yes...this is what people call the golden years and even if this is just a fictitious story now, I know that this is what I want and what I see for us.
Thank you so much Abby for being there every step of the way and for every step to follow. I love you ♥

I log on to see this and it makes me beam. I love you so much.
